• By Phone: Call us at 1-631-477-3671. While online orders can be placed 24 hours a day, phone orders can be placed 7 days/week, 9am-9pm EST
• By Mail: If you prefer to send payment through the mail, call us and we'll give you the total amount due, then mail your payment to:

• Please do not use e-mail to send credit card information. If you wish, you may e-mail your order with a telephone number where we can reach you to secure your form of payment.

Shipping - within the U.S. only

• When: Your order will ship within 24 hours, unless it is an item made to order. Orders are filled Monday-Friday. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on Monday.
• Where: thegroovymind sells internationally but only ships within the United States.
• How We Ship: To track orders, select USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, UPS 2 Day or UPS 3 Day Select, and for Overnight Shipping, select UPS Next Day Air or USPS Express Mail.
• Shipping Costs: Typically other online stores charge or incorporate in the product price $4- 5/handling per order. We do not charge a handling fee. To keep shipping charges more affordable, it's best to make larger purchases at one time. Shippers charge virtually the same for a one pound shipment as a three pound shipment.
• To determine the exact shipping charge of your order:
  1. Place your selected items in the shopping cart.
  2. Click Check Out.
  3. Complete the Shipping Information page.
  4. Press Continue.
  5. Subtotal, Shipping, Tax, and Total are in the lower left of the screen. At this point, you proceed with the order and enter your credit card info.
• Transit Time -- UPS does not guarantee the exact arrival date for shipping by ground (please allow 1-5 week days depending on your area of the country). Approximate delivery time is shown below on the UPS map. For a quick delivery date, choose UPS Next Day Air or USPS PRIORITY MAIL

Exchanges and Returns

Satisfaction Guarantee

All products purchased from thegroovymind are sold with a 30-day money back guarantee, except for food and beverages. In the hot weather, we cannot guarantee shipment of chocolate; however, if you decide to order chocolate or a groovy gourmet gift with chocolate when it is above 70 degrees, it's best to use USPS Express Mail overnight or UPS Next Day Air. For non-food/beverage items, if you aren't completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund of the original purchase price, excluding shipping and handling charges.

How to Return or Exchange:

1. Please contact us to arrange for an exchange or return - Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST. If you are returning an order paid for by credit card, thegroovymind will issue a refund to the credit card account used for the original purchase (upon receipt of the returned product). If you paid by check, we will issue a check.
2. To ship a product to us, carefully pack it and return it in the original box.
3. Make a copy of your receipt and place it in the box. Be sure to write the quantity being returned and the reason for the return. Our shipping address is:

Purchasing Gifts for Others

• When purchasing gifts for others from our website, an option for gift wrap and card will be offered. Gift wrap and cards are included in our Groovy Gourmet Gift Boxes. Otherwise, at checkout, after you've entered the Ship To/Bill To info, a prompt will come up offering you gift wrap and card for an additional charge. If you experience any problems with your order or wish to customize business or personal gifts, contact us at ordersATthegroovymind.com or 631-477-3671.
• Gift Card: When the prompt comes up for a gift card, please fill out the gift message you wish to write and we'll add it to your gift card free of charge. If you wish to add or change this information, e-mail us within 2 hours at ordersATthegroovymind.com .
• Gift Packaging: We offer eco friendly gift packaging. Gifts are wrapped in our signature biodegradable literary box which is excellent for storing manuscripts, papers and magazines or an appropriate sized box with colorful, hand stamped, recycled paper.
• Receipt will not be included: The recipient of your gift will not receive any pricing or receipts from us (they are sent to the billing address only).

Sales Tax

If you are shipping to a location within New York, we're required to charge a tax of 8.625% (with the exception of Coffee, Tea, Nuts, Memberships, Donations, and Gift Certificate Purchases. Gift boxes that contain taxable items must be taxed in their entirety).

Our Packaging Philosophy

For ecological reasons, thegroovymind limits packing materials as much as possible. We attempt to reuse cartons when they are in good condition. Gifts are sent in new boxes with sustainable packing materials.

If it is not a gift you may receive a package from us that may contain styrofoam peanuts or bubble wrap inside. These have been recycled. We only use these types of materials to recycle them from other packaging. Otherwise we strictly use environmentally sustainable materials.
